All of the money we raise funds projects designed to provide for the health, education, safety and entertainment of Union County's children and young adults, as well as the children of the world.

Backpack 2 School Bash 8/2/25
First United Methodist Church, Blairsville 10:00am - 1:00pm
The 10th Annual Backpack 2 School Bash provides backpacks and school supplies to students in Union County, Georgia. No income requirements.
Kids must be registered to receive a backpack & supplies for the 2025-2026 school year. Walk-ins will be helped at the end of the event if supplies are left.
Blairsville Kiwanis helps sponsor this community event and assists with the event.
Celebrating 75 years of Community Service
Blairsville's Ice Cream and Mini Golf 8:00am - 10:30am
Kiwanis Club of Blairsville was chartered 75 years ago on September 13, 1950.
Bring the whole family to our BIRTHDAY PARTY and enjoy a fun-filled morning with a free round of mini golf, corn hole, face painting, and more!

"Paint Your Story"
Union County Public Library Shows at 10:00am and 11:30am
Atlanta's own Jeffini the Great will perform two 45-minute shows sure to please children of all ages!
Free admission. Donations will be taken at the door.

"North Pole Follies"
Union County Public Library Shows at 10:00am and 11:30am
Mr. Niko will perform two 45-minute shows specializing in puppet performances that incorporate music, live vocals, and a variety of puppet styles.
Free admission. Donations will be taken at the door.

Scarecrows on the square 10/25
Downtown merchants and organizations build scarecrows and place them around the square during the month of October. The community votes for their favorite scarecrow...maybe it will be ours!
